This is the old Lee County Jail. It was opened in 1867 and used until 1970. I don't know that much about it, because I'm not originally from here, but I thought it was an interesting building.
Obviously I did some editing to it. Slight histogram adjustments and used the platinum effect to go with the age of the building.

Funky old building. Almost looks like the stones are of different textures in different parts of the building, but maybe that's processing?

The county next to my home county in Florida is named Lee County, for Robert E Lee. This is a good take of the place, and your processing brings out the details very nicely. I wonder if the upper door is there for hangings? You could find much about your local history by searching Google or Yahoo. The state archives should have a lot of stories and images on line as well if you are interested in learning about the area's history.
