your message escapes me, i'm sorry to say... technically, the picture suffers from a bad crop... the colors of the flag could've been more vivid, too... whether or not it conveys silence i can't tell and it doesn't really matter... 2.

actually, I'm pretty sure that gun ya got there is quite capable of silencing tons of people...

The statement here is unclear, and the shot is rather bland.

I love the message this picture sends, very well composed and thought out. It is definitely one of my top picks

I suppose it's a clever concept and all that, but the ideology is despicable.

Highlights are overblown, nice job on the metal, that looks perfect. Excellent choice of background.

The focus seems to be more on meeting the challenge theme then on creating an interesting photograph.

This is a nce crisp shot, but gun needs to be seen more. Not sure if image would convey silence w/o title.

why is the american flag and a gun there?? is it supposed to reprasent the people...im not digging it...sorry

Sorry, but as someone that would like all guns silenced I find this singularly unappealing. I guess it is propaganda that will get a better reception in the States.

excellent color in the flag. what is partly showing on the right side under the gun? should have been cropped out, distracting

technically a competent photo but a gun is something associated with extreme noise and thus even with mufflers, it is really difficult to appreciate any sense of silence. the flag is confusing also since it is not clear what it has to do with the idea of silence. I note the title but it does not help much. Are you saying that you could ban guns but the people would make a noise about it? In that context this is a good subject for a 'prpoganda', 'media' or 'campaigning' challenge. For silence, however, it eludes me - sorry :))

Great photo, but your politics are certainly going to offend a lot of voters. Still, you've gotta hold on to your beliefs.
