Because I am in the League of Death, I entered a challenge that I wasn't very comfortable with. At least I got to try some new techniques! Expect this one to bomb though.

Stunning shot. I love the way the match curls and the smoke follows.

Beautiful use of "rule of thirds". Outstanding movement of the smoke out of the frame to the left (symbolizing the past - that match is over and done)Great shot. 9

gorgeous, but not clear exactly what it is at first.

The K.I.S.S. principle makes this a front runner. (OK, that and the one about cream floating to the top).

nice photo. i like the way the match bent as it burned down. it's obvious the path of the match as it burned.

I really like how this one turned out.

Well composed, nice and simple concept. I worry that compared to some of the others I have voted on so far that the "relatively easy" technical difficultly might prevent a high score

Nice idea, the photo has a little noise in the smoke.

Nice idea, probably really difficult to pull it off in a manner that would produce a very good final picture. As is it's a bit on the busy side and doesn't really attract the eye.

Very nice. It's hard to get flame shots (at least for me, lol). I think the only thing I could comment on would be to have this a little sharper... and if I'm really picky to level the bottom match with your horizon line. Great composition and capture of the idea

Swee.t I really like your take on the challenge. Only quip would be the noise on the left of the curled match, but I am sure in blending that this is tough to get rid of. I like that you chose a unique subject and made it work. Well done. 9.
