Starting off simple. My girlfriend Adi insisted she'd be the first portrait of the year (and I think you'll be seeing more photos of her soon).

Come to think of it, it might have been better if I put the focus on the closest eye instead of the fay away one. Ah heck, I like it this way.

Another vote for the focus... really needed to be on the near eyeas it is my eye keeps wandering away and doesn't know where to stop. otherwise I like the colours, very warm feeling

I love the tonality and toning, but I'm going to jump on the bandwagon as far as focus goes.

She looks really lovely! I like the strong close-up, but yes, I agree with you that the more traditional focus point would be better.

I also think the focus would have been better on the closest eye, as my attention is drawn to the beautiful ring rather than her lovely eyes.

I agree...the focus should have been on the fore eye to keep everything in perspective.
