Way to go! Renee!
Congrats on a great placing. A good photo deserves a good result. |

sort of a noisy title for a silence challenge? The water surface is strong as are the clouds, the twigs at the top right appear oversharpened
Looking again, it could be water or ice but it has a strong and substantial feel |

Beautiful, been done a thousand times before, but this is one of the best I've seen like it.....though, still nothing new here.6. |

"screaming?" great image, but I think it's a bit more violent than quiet. |

Nice shot, but I'd reconsider the title and the border. |

I really like the picture. I don't like the title. It takes away from this beautifully suggestive quiet scene. |

most people dont want to take the color out of a sunset photo by making it black and withe.. but it works in this shot.. nice shot.. balance and compostion is very nice.. good work.. |

I like this photo a lot, the two people in the bottom right really add perspective to the scene. This might be better without the tree coming out of the right side. Overall, this is very good, in my opinion the sky really males this photo stand out. |

A striking image and I love your choice not to be restricted by the rule of thirds - giving the majority of the frame over to that sky really enhances the composition and makes the two silhouettes seem tinier in the vastness. The light from the clouds is wonderful though, in places, a touch too much so, in that it overpowers the beautiful rays filtering out through the clouds. Good move to include those bare foreground branches - it does add something I think. Overall a lovely image! 9 |

Absolutely beatiful. Horizon seems a fraction off horizontal but that is just a nitpick. Very silent indeed! |

An interesting take on the sunset-serenity shot! This time in portait mode and B&W!! But it definately works, and scores well with me. The branches look a tad oversharpened? also, the sea level is not quite level, I think? |

Beautiful shot though the title seems a bit at cross purposes... until I read that, I did think of silence. A silent scream, I suppose... - 7 |
