This made me smile, not because I cruel but because I have kids. Great original idea (no sign of taped moths or sleeping kids)

oh, How hard it must be to teach this lesson. What a great candid shot.

This is interetsing because it communicates silence in there ways: 1-Silence is needed to concentrate on reading. 2-The door silences the crying baby. 3-The "No Solicitors" sign silences interruptions by unwanted peddlers.

Nicely done.

I like the composition and that there's a story behind the picture. Nice how woman's shadow leads you up to the child. Not the usual 'tape or index finger over the mouth' shot. Thanks for giving us something different and interesting to look at. :) I''m curious to see how this would look in B&W also.

Well, almost. Bet she can still hear the little one knocking at the door! Nonetheless, I think your picture captures the theme very well, and with a good dose of originality. Poor little guy looks SO unhappy! On a side note, I'm alternately happy / unhappy with the red No Solititors sign, which distracts me. If you had control over it, you might have removed it for this shot. Just a thought.

One of the best of the bunch. This one says calm and silence. (outside, that is) LOL. Nice work.

well executed, I am not sure that the kid's noise doesn't come right through the door

I can just hear the comments: Oh! How cruel!!! I know the feeling! I don't know if the sign was accidental or not but it adds a nice touch. Nice crisp shot. BOL

This works very nicely. The first shot that says 'silence' to me without too much effort.
