 These are the times that I am glad I have an Oly cam, especially the c5050 which comes with a high shoot function. Becuase of this, this particular shoot didn't take me hours & possilbly even days. It was rather simple to do with all my tools.

Aluminum foil, shaped a big peace sign on it, filled the crevaces with lighter fluid & had my sister give it a light to get things going. As soon as she did & removed her hand, I started shooting successive shots. I got lucky with what I had & didnt have to do a second shoot.

In the darkroom, a bit of levels check, slight cloning to get rid of imperfections, cropped & resized.

for my tasts this is a great shot, overall, of the flames. Perfect exposure, clairy and detail. Like that the peace symbol is still discernible and the composition.

This would have been a bit better if you could have gotten the entire circle to light evenly.

There are some wonderful shapes in here that would have been stronger with a tighter crop and perhaps a slightly broader gamut.
