 THE IMAGE: One of my most willing and available subjects.

EDIT: Crop, Basic levels adj, USM and colour adjustments

PREDICTION: 6...probably less. There will be some great and interesting images in this challenge...can't see this really shining through.

Post: Aaaargh, 4th again! That's the third time in 4 weeks!!! Always the bridesmaid...

Well, I can't say how quick this shot took because it was literally taken, edited and entered in about 15 minutes. Handheld macro, nice daylight in the room, quck levels and colour adjustment (I wanted the blue cast) and that was it. Sometimes shots that cost me a fortune in time, resources and effort don't do nearly as well.

Anyhow, dpcers love flowers, so thanks everyone for voting and comments. I do like the shot, but I have taken a lot better and fell way short of a score like this.

i can't say that it is very 'textured' unless 'smooth' is a texture. i can see where the colours in the center have a textured effect. it's a really eye-catching and beautiful photo. /9
