It feels good to have a camera back in my hands. Taken on a quick jaunt under the St. Johns Bridge in Portland.

I cannot for the life of me get it so it looks straight up and down. Either it's a barrel distortion product of the lens, or an optical illusion with the different support structures. Yes, to me it looks like it tilts slightly to the left, but the centerline is perfectly straight and I move it slightly to the right and it looks like it tilts to the right. I'm sure I'll get at least 2-3 comments on it.

I'm sure you've gotten this, why is the image not straight to the arches? I see that that level line is straight, but visually I follow the arch line. Whatever, I love the shot. Good work.

Bridge supports often remind me of cathedrals and castles. This shot makes me look for a knight with a lance to come striding across the grass.

Very interesting. I like it, though I don't alltogether like the color combo here. Still a great shot.

Interesting and great image. Perfectly meets the challenge....a glimpse into a secret garden. One of my favorites for top 3. Back to bump you up to 9.

Great shot. I had to connect the title with picture because the window drew my attention first off. I have to say I don't like the white frame, because the walls seem to be a frame. I do like the colors and the composition and lighting, and of course, the idea. 7

I like the juxtaposition of the many Gothic arches with the green--almost fluorescent--tree.

This is a great shot with the leading lines and shapes. I like how everythin is grey and then there is this lovely colour.
