 Behold my chocolate point Siamese, Phoenix. She's almost 17, though she certainly doesn't look it.

She's a little touched, but always good for a game. I have a long, thin reed thing that I use to play with them (them being Phoenix and Cosima). That's the shadow you see. She's on the balcony and reaching out to get the reed thing... I had to stop because I felt she might hurl herself into the depths.

Only levels and slightly sharpened, cropped, resized.

This brings back memories Alicia. What a great breed of 'cat'. More like dogs. I had two about 25 years ago - Kismit (seal point) & Suki (blue point). 'Til the day they died I don't think they ever lost the playfulness in them.

This is cool because it is a bit challenging (for me anyway) to get oriented as to what's going on. I thought you did some overlay thing until I read the comments.

I just LOVE Siamese cats! I had 4 of them and all were chocolate points, with blue eyes and a knot at the end of their tails. I really like the funny angle you took and that we can see the claws as she is playing.

This is a very good shot of your little friend. I guess that I will have to post a shot of my kitten soon. That's a long time for a cat to live. You must take good care of her.

Love the lighting and perspective with this one. I had a Siamese mix that had grey tips and shading. We called her a "dirt point" Siamese! Her brother was completely brown with Siamese structure.....he was really something. He lived to be 21.

how unusual for you alicia !!!! .. levels & sharpened .. wots the go ?!!!
i think i know .. its just great the way it is !! .. sometimes (and very rarely for me) a photograph comes along that pretty much needs nothing .. THIS IS IT .. !! .. excellent near abstract with the shapes and phoenix reaching out .. love the claws !! .. those harsh shadows and the contrasts going on with the white areas are brilliant .. :)
