 Still bummed out, I did not shoot as much I used to last week at all. Finally did some on Saturday with the intent of doing more, but no. Some more on Sunday and a bit more Monday. Then today...I just went crazy shooting but still did not have anything for this week's challenges.

In desparation, I called Bev. But she said she had something to do at Church until 09:00 PM and did not feel she would be up to it after that. I said OK and as I had been out today already, I did not want to go out again. I resigned myself to shoot something in the studio. I hemmed and hawed, bitch to Pearle about not having my new glasses yet and sat around surfing the web. Then bev calleed right before 08:00 PM and said she was done earlier. So she drove by about a half hour later and we went to Boat House Row. There is really no where to park where we were but Bev pulled up onto the sidewalk and I got out and shot about a dozen images or so. We then went to the top of a parking garage on 8th Street and I tried some cityscapes but was not happy with them so I went with this.

Post: Convert from raw in PSElements 3.0 with a +0.67 exposure compensattion. Crop twice. Then a third and fourth but went back to the second crop. Curves adjustment. Layer adjustment for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. USM. Resize. USM.

This is great. Nice balancing of ambient vs christmas lights. The reflections are great. If the water and reflections extended to the bottom of the frame this would have scored even better.

Pretty good balance of light (still a tad to dark). Too much here, though, there isn't a focal point. Red lights near the tree line are a little distracting.

i enjoy the picture and i never really like to just stamp dnmc, cuz thats not my style but for me, and just for me, not what i have in mind for this challenge. /5
