Oh look, Jayson does work in color lol. During the challenge this struck me as such a quirky photo - which I liked of course. Your title made me stop and look. I think the one thing that stood out for me was that it looks like there's graffiti on the ostrich pic. Guess 2009 doesn't come early enough for some folks. ;) |

A good street scene with strong colors and lots of interest. Maybe a little too much going on. Perhaps a little Wabi-Sabi behind the red wall, though it is not really the main subject. |

Colours look a bit oversaturated (especially the blue building). But it's an intriguing photo. |

A lot of the "beauty in the everyday" is done at the small level. This is a wonderful example of how to do it on a larger, more encompassing level. Really is amazing what we can see when we look. Great title, too, by the way. |
