iPhoto, Crop, then adjust- Levels, Exposure, Shadows, W/B, Tint, Noise.
Copy to Graphic Converter, Resize in steps, Strip extra files, Save for upload
Sunsets do not generally score well, but a 5.4-5.5 would be nice. I wanted to use a "Florida" title, but then a lot of people would know who submitted it. I entered this one mostly to be active in DPC, and also because I miss clicking the "update" button.
Thanks everyone for having a look, and for the votes, both good and bad. I have driven by these trees for about 20 years now and never thought of them as a photo subject until I saw this sky, and was looking for something to use for a subject before the sky went completely dark. This was about 15 minutes after sunset, on the way home from work. |

| It's beautiful and quite spectacular, but I just don't see it fitting the Wabi-Sabi idea. Wonderful shading and silhouette. |

| Great use of shape as subject. Not sure it hits at the spirit of the challenge, but it is a superb sunset. |
