taken at my favorite seaside location. same locale as the last long exposure challenge, but a different subject. Lighthouse this time! Used a ND, and a grad ND to lengthen the exposure time.
PP- opened Raw in ACR CS3, adjusting color temp, black level, and removed some luminance noise. Slight rotation to level horizon, and crop. Layer for levels, curves (added slight S-shape). Selective color layer to achieve color balance of what I perceived under the moonlight. Flatten, resize. slight USM at small radius, and USM at large radius. added border, saved for web. |

| I think this image could stand alone without the heavy border. Great exposure. The brightness of the lighthouse and upper left corner in general detracts a bit from the beautiful foreground. But great for Basic. |

| Amazing. Looks like daylight! I'd have knocked the blue down a smidge with a color temp adjustment, but otherwise this is a nice shot. Well seen and captured. Good luck! |

| Nice long exposure on the water. A good amount of detail preserved in the rocks, and lighthouse in the distance is a plus. Too much of a blue cast, in my opinion. It drowns out the greens a little too much, and that sort of contrast would have helped a little. |
