Good idea but on my monitor I find it hard to make out the flames. If they were more pronounced I would have rated it higher. |

Wish the flame in her eyes was larger and more pronounced. Seems like she's out of flame. :( |

If the flame was just a little bigger... |

Very interesting idea, too bad that the flame doesn't stand out to strengthen the concept. |

Interesting idea, but I think you needed a larger flame to reflect in the eyes to really be able to pull this one off. |

Having both eyes in the composition takes away from the composition. The fire is quite small to make out. Focusing on 1 eye would give the viewer a closer look at the eye and thus the flame. Currently the slanted composition is fairly interesting and is still good. The b&w combined with the touch of color for the fire is good. "8" |

Not enough detail really the shot itself is very good but the fire aspect is lost
good focus 6 |

... the microscope in my hand. The flame is just too small. Perhaps if the fire was more brightly colored? I was going to try a similar shot + maybe one using mirrored sunglasses, but the reflections were too small so I gave up. |

I like this composition - the eye in one corner and the arch of the eyebrow diagonally opposite. Catching the reflection of the fire in the eyes is a great idea. It comes off as a bit too subtle - I would like to see more fire - like the reflection from a fireplace. 6 |

very nice idea, bigger reflections would improve it. |

The "idea" always make me think of a roaring blaze so perhaps a little weak on the theme but a nice picture all the same and well PPed to acheive the effect. 7 |

I will assume the fire is from a match or a lighter but it is so small it is barely discernible. Nice idea but needs some oomp. The eyes are very nice and the rest of the image is quite fine. |

could you magnify the flames more, I think that would really bring out the picture. |

nicely cropped - perhaps the flames could be larger?? Like the b&w treatment |

Cool idea! I think that a bit more flame would have made it really stand out. One of my favs as is. |

Just bring up some flame in there those eyes and you got it. But don't get to close. Good luck. |

Excellent shot. Why didn't I think of this! I love it. The eye on the left feels a bit cut off to me and the shot overall feels a bit unbalanced. |
