 The Image: Back to the Rialto observation deck for another go at an image I had done previously as a black and white.



I like the light and the result here.

Edit: USM, Levels, Colour Balance, Noise Ninja...that's it

Prediction: 6.4...cause the other one went 6.6, so the creativity isn't as strong and people will vot accordingly.

Post Challenge: Thanks everyone. Never expected this to make 7th. I have had a good run with several top tens and two forths in the last month. The ribbons are elusive.

Great city shot. Feels like a bit of an unusual angle, but that doesn't detract from the overall image. Nice bit of light still retained in the sky.

Back to comment: The best skyline image in the challenge. It looks like the color version of hotpasta's November Free Study image. I like this a whole lot better. Giving it a bump to a 9.

The reflection off the top of that building above the horizon is perfect, it adds so much depth and really brings out the blue in the sky by contrast. Excellent!
