 First shot with new 5d and im seriously impressed. Shot using flash to left, i also used an extension tube on my humble 50mm 1.8 and i love the texture produced.

I like these kinds of shots where you're invited to examine all the details. Perhaps stopping down on the aperture could provide more detail to admire. Nice shot, and nice lighting.

Nice side lighting . I wish it had a little more dof though because with such nice lighting it's a shame to not get to appreciate all the wonderfully shadowed shapes.

This is quite simply the most beautiful ball of rubber bands I've ever seen - mission accomplished. :) Love your DOF choice - lends a nice air of mystery.

Lovely lighting and a nice simple image. I wonder if it would be improved by having the point of focus off centre? :)

The lighting and DOF make the shot. It works being centered and that's not often the case. ;~D

This looks much better in full size than in the thumbnail. Very good detail on the elastic bands.

I like the shallow DOF and the lighting certainly emphasises texture and shapes.
