I couldn't think of anything that screamed silence more than a playground without children. I got the idea when I happened to see a swingset in the backyard of someone's house and thought how quiet it looked.
Anyway, I hope this is enjoyed.
Nothing done in the editing, except to resize it for the challenge. It was a nice snowy day and just looked wintery.

The subject itself is great - but I think the image lacks punch. Being so far away (and thus including trees, foreground etd) doesn't really add anything, I think going closer might be better.
I'm also most intrigued by the snow-covered tyres and think a photo of those would be striking.

On the right side, the house is distracting. Cropping at the trees(as you did on the left) would help that. The tradeoff is obviously loosing the empty bench which makes this look even more silent. A little more detail on the playgound equipment would have helped a little too, even at the expense of blowing out the sky a bit.

Angle is slightly off... otherwise nice shot

Nice.

The impression you create is very nice. Could have improved by slight rotation CW.

you've done a nice job of telling a story. I'd suggest leveling the picture and fuzzing out the background to isolate your composition - perhaps b&w because the only bit of color is in the backdrop.

the picture is not level.

I don't think the playground really stands out in the image, maybe closer or a different angle could have helped?

the horizontal is cropped croocked... , allright shot...
