nice interpretation... the color here seems a bit harsh. |

Ordinarily, I appreciate a looser interpretation of the challenge. In this case, though, fire is such a difficult subject to shoot that handling actual flame with your camera IS pretty much a requirement to me. |

Not the first time I've said this, a great picture but imho does not fit the true remit of the challenge. |

Indeed these petals do resemble flames but you may be stretching the concept of the challenge a bit. |

I like your image very much The focus seems a little soft and It may have looked even better with the background completely black It seems a bit lost on the white
at least its different 8 |

Wonderful take on the fire theme using flowers. Great dynamic composition. Looks almost like rising flames.Very vibrant colors. "10" |

Love your flaming flowers. They are a perfect take on the Challenge and beautifully presented. Easily worth a 10. |

Nice idea ~ to evoke Fire bare flames are not alwasy needed.
For my taste there is a little too much negative space and the impression of fire is not strong enough and the overall focus because of DOF is not quite there but I like the idea. A 4 from me |

I tried this with some red, orange and yellow gerbera daisies and end up using the smudge brush to make the petals appear more flame like. This, however, is quite nice without such histrionics. I wish the back ground was either one of the colors of the flowers or black, the white is hurting my eyes against the wonderful bright colors of the flowers. |

Beautiful, but would have been more fiery against a dark background. |
