Amazing contrast, the old artistic, with the newer boxy almost anti-artistic background. A minor suggestion is that a little more contrast might have cleaned up the edges a little better, otherwise I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I liked the balance (haha) of the few statues vs. the numerous buildings. I like how they just naturally pop out of the picture.

Good point of view/perspective. Your call of course, but I wonder about this in a tone or b&w. Like the 'historical' contrast.
