Aidan loves posing as a muscle man. Someday maybe he will have muscles to show off.

We moved our studio into our basement so that we would have more workable distance to be able to get our subjects further away from the backdrops. Bought us about 6 more feet front to back and a couple of feet side to side working distance. I probably still should have had him further away but overall I think this is working out better. Only spot editing on the background is from the vignette added. You can stillsee some of the waves of the muslin, but not nearly as bad.

Shot with the Tamron, 420 to the right bounced off silver umbrella, 580 on camera as master and fill bounced off cieling and the bounce card.

LOL and all I can think of is when he said to me "wanna see my muscle?"

Excellent work! Wonderful pose and expression, nice depth to the lighting, and I like the falloff or vignette on the background. Not a thing I would change here.

I love this shot- the pose and expression are great.
I love the greyish background- looks natural- like overcast sky.

Edit: this one was with the sky in the background - yours reminded me of that picture; I had to dig a little but I found it here

Great capture. There is personality seeping through and to me that is a good thing in a portrait. One for the 21st slide show though :-)

It would help if you had some more light on the background if you want to blow those creases off completely.... I use a cheap manual flash with an optical sensor.

Great shot! I could see this hanging on the wall of a doctor's office. =)
