 I don't expect much out of this, I know people don't care for pet shots. I was playing with some lights and just saw the cat sitting there and thought it was pretty. This is pretty much straight out of the camera. No crop, just brightened it a tiny bit.

Nice lighting, though I find the shallow DOF kills some of the detail that might otherwise be visible in this kitty's fur.

Would prefer the eye closer to the viewer is tad lighter.

The lighting is so harsh I think it takes away from the beautiful subject.

Potentially gorgeous shot, but the depth of field is too shallow. Had the far eye been in focus, this would have been very nice.

Close is nice, not quite in focus and no dof and a bit too hot.

A little more focus on the lit eye would have worked wonders :) Great expression though!

It must be a very difficult photo to take. I find the right eye of the cat out of focus, and the left one too dark.

Good intent look on the cat, would like to see a bit more DOF so the eye that is lit up is in focus.

i wish the focus were on the other eye, being that the more light draws my attention there.

The light on the left is too harsh, the light on the right isn't strong enough...maybe a reflector to add some fill light would have helped. The eye in the stronger light is not sharp.
