 I'm going to see my mom for Christmas/Birthday(mine)/NewYear and I'm flying on Christmas Eve!

Yesterday I sent my mom a package with her presents so I won't have to carry them in my luggage. Also, since I'm arriving on Christmas Day, I can just unpack the box and won't have to worry about wrapping things.

The photo didn't turn out like I wanted, but I got tired of fussing with it - and it is a slice of life - so there you go.

Standing in line at the post office was a real thrill. The boxy weighed 13 pounds and cost $26 to ship via priority mail - !!!!

I'm going to have to send two more packages with presents to distant friends - so more packing and post office fun.

wow .. you sure do wrap presents nicely alicia .. great xmasy shot and your processing is perfect for this photograph ..
i'm in the middle of writing you an email .. i had to go out yesterday and other stuff has been happening.
then of course i had to spend some time making comments in our slice of life this morning .. its such a trial !!!!! ... lol lol .. its 6.38am saturday here in oz as i write this ..
i'm planning to finish the email today sometime .. hope your migraine is better .. :)

What pretty presents! You really go all out wrapping them up with the ribbons & stuff, very nice. I'm sure your mom will enjoy seeing you!!

That's a great idea to send them ahead. We have a big package ready to go out tomorrow, I don't even want to know how much it will cost. Nice wrapping and pp.

You did such a nice job wrapping- she won't want to open them ! The trip is exciting to look forward to...( now , being nosy, i want to know where your Mom is ???)

You wrap gifts so beautifully!!!! This is just a gorgeous photo. Oh, and I think that shipping cost is cheap. You should try sending parcels here in Canada.....that would have cost over $50.
