It is probably not easy to find a good angle for a profane subject such as lighter and the top view may be a good choice, but then I would prefer less background there, or may be even more melting away background (but more likely a closer detail of the lighter head and different shade of the table).
Btw. I use lighters mostly on candles these days, and I am completely happy when they work :-) |

I'm not getting the "unfortunately" part. Maybe that is a comment on smoking? Good detail showing, but I don't connect the title. |

the glare is distracting and I think you should have captured the shadow along with the lighter.. |

More thought could have been given to the position in the frame. Perhaps a portrait orientation would have been better. |
