Contrary to the impression I now know I’ve given here – this is not a shoehorn. I did this shot especially for the challenge. It was my first idea and I usually go along with that.
My image is somewhat tongue-in-cheek though, I’ll admit that. I also used the word Hell more as a curse than a concept but, hey, your hell isn’t necessarly mine ;-)
Thanks to those who got the humour and thanks for all the comments and votes.

There's something that really makes me like this shot. Maybe the simple, strong colors or the simple shapes. Love the single drop too. Nicely done.

pretty cool photo. i like it. but imo, your use of the word 'hell' is just a curse word, not a 'concept'. it seems generic since you could take that photo and put any four letter word in the title..

I'm giving it an 8 because I really like color and composition. But I also think it's one of those shots that relies purely on the title to tie itself to the challenge theme. I think that shots shouldn't really be titled, or at least titles should be invisible to voters until voting is over.

You've got the lighting. You've got the camera. You've got the home studio. The only thing that's missing is imagination because I cannot understand how this is even close to being related to anything 'Hell' like. You seem like you've got all the toys, now use them to actually respond to the challenge rather than submitting something that suits you!!

Nicely done! Great use of white space to create a bold image. Little more detail in the clear glass would of been nice but still a super cool image.
