This photograph can be interpreted in so many ways, and that's why I chose it.

The quote is from Garth Brooks, and I'm not a fan of his, but when I read it, I knew it fit perfectly with this.

The way I feel about this picture, is from a cutters standpoint, it feels so good, but it's hard to stop. It's an addiction. And there's a conflict between yourself, trying, and wanting to stop, but not being able to. Much like smoking, and for this interpretation I chose the quote in the title.

And then this can be a result of continual conflict, in the outside world, not an internal conflict, like above.

Can't say I like the content...but the conflict of feelings when looking at it are pretty strong! Nice.

With the deep shadowing it is a little bit hard to see what's really going on here. But I do like the concept, I would recommend [but what do i know? lol] some compositional changes.

In poor taste, I see no purpose for these type of images.
You can obviously take decent pictures so why not do that.

Lighting leaves something to be desired here....I actually hard a hard time determining what this picture was. Doesn't depict "conflict" wo me.
