A picture taken outside of a Ferrari garage at night in the rain.

My aim was to try and recreate the sensual curves of a supercar rather than just have it sitting staring you in the face. In this particular case the car under the sign unfortunately happened to be a Masserati rather than a Ferrari, so even more cause to minimalise the amount showing . . and what appears to be the windscreen is actually the rear window :- )

Thank you for the kind comments and fav's - but a lot of people clearly see an advert in more simple terms . . . maybe ad's are different in different parts of the world :- )

Great shot Steve, good mood and well "seen" in amongst what was probably a much less photogenic surround.

Pity to see it finish in the middle of the pack - deserved better IMHO.

Completely underrated shot. WHat in the world were people thinking? I think you have done an excellent job to 'sell' the car and the brand.

You can work for my ad agency anyday!

Steve, this was my fav in the challenge and only 9 - way underrated!

There were a few images in this challenge that did not include a "full view" of the car. I did not like them (they were nice shots, but didn't seem to be "advertisement-like" to me) except for this one. I think you did a great job with this and it's a very nice image.

I think it's the hint of the car that works here, and works very well. Nicely done!

I'm thinking the number of uncalibrated monitors was responsible for the low score on this excellent composition. This photo sells the ferrari to me. Well done.

just a hint more of the car and this would have been perfect

Nice concept. My only objection here is that car under the sign a bit dark. I wish it would be little bit more lid. I like the colors, frame, so overall not bad :)

Interesting shot, but does more to sell the brand than the car. Like the light on the brick wall and the car though. 5

Bit on the boring side to be honest.

The "Prancing Stallion", nice mysterious feeling here. BB

PS. The brick wall just completely sets the tone too!

A wonderful, inspirational composition. Your use of minimalism to create mystery is masterful and is topped off by the contrasting texture and color of the metal and brick. Excellent -10

Bold and evocative. Perhaps not so dark on the part of the car that is showing, but that's debatable. It's very good.

I kind of like the idea but I'm not sure I would buy a car from this image. You should have added more detail to the image with adding a car to it.

Cool atmosphere. Apart from the sign, everything is a little dark though. I would be good to see more light on the wall, and a more striking curves for the car.
