People vs. Wild Animals.
Was at Yosemite this past weekend, these signs were displayed throughout the park in LED style.
It was very tempting to feed them, they would approach our car looking for handouts. The coyotes would get as close as five feet. This one was looking at my kids in the back seat, I guess he has scored more often from people in the backseat, or perhaps from kids.
We were also visited by a racoon on our hotel deck, he practically extended his hand for food. We didn't oblige any of the animals, perhaps if no one does their offspring will return to their natural eating habits.

Hats off to Louddog and Bibliophile, you understood. If only the rest of us could be so open minded.....

Nice shot, interesting capture and beatiful detail. Without the title, the picture doesn't convey any conflict message.

Good shot of a wolf, but I don't think an entry should depend on it's title to indicate conflict. This guy could be standing there very happy and content. But you did nail the shot.

Very good quality, but nothing really going on.

Excellent photo. A title to the effect of urban sprawl or who was here first might have helped it meet the challenge better. 10 from me.

I know it's a hard subject to do a macro with but your picture seemed like it has been cropped a lot. The details are rough. Also your picture look like it's been heavily edited. Finally, in my mind you need 2 subject to get a conflict.

The title really doesnt match, but i do get a sense of conflict from just the photo itself.

Nice shot, but I don't see a very strong conflict here

you're not feeding him...and he's just standing there...this photo minus the title conveys no conflict

Beautiful animal. The title explains a lot and the animal standing on the road really says a lot once you know what to look for. Excellent statement on a sad situation!

What is the conflict?

nice pic, but (for me) does not fit the challenge well - it doesn't say 'conflict' without an explanation. Show the pic to strangers, and say nothing. Ask "What is the first thing that comes to mind?" or even 'What is the conflict in this image?' and let me know if anyone gets it.

The picture should fit the challenge, not the title.

I wouldn't want to meet that one.
