IMHO this image was underrated. I gave an 8 to this image; it was one of my picks for top 5. The centered composition and the lighting (excepting the harsh shadow on the forehead) work very well here. The acid color adds drama to it. Good use of DOF too. I must say congratulations!!. Keep up the good work.

| Good composition and it immediately makes me think of the word "contemplation." Not gory or tossed with fire and red, but it makes good use of interpretation of hell. Good lighting in the center, and the bars add some touch without distracting too much. |

| Good concept and image. The contrast between the attire and the scenario is interesting. What to improve? I believe the shadow accross his forehead is distracting, I suspect it would be a much better image without it (8) |

| i like the lighting on the coat particularly. nice capture overall, i just wish his head was down a SMIDGE so the light wasn't hitting his nose. |

| it seems like he is waiting for his time to get out or maybe his allotted phone call. :) A torturing scene made beside him would have given it a much heavier impact just like the title says. i like the idea though.. |
