Well couldn´t really pass up shooting for this challenge as I have been in the last two, will be fun to see how many people recognize me. Henný came along and did my makeup and also took this photo under my direction. The idea is that I have a hole in my head and all the ideas just leaked out, don´t think that will come across and it didn´t come out nearly as well as I thought, my biggest fear might be realized in this challenge, that she will beat me!

Lighting is pretty much same setup as my Duotones III entry, just look that up if you are interested, am going to do a series of photos like this, a sepia studio headshot with black bodypaint making various shapes. Only thing I changed with the lighting was that there was more power on the frontlight and a little less on the sidelights. Post processing was also the same as on the Duotones entry, more or less.

Oh and it was supposed to be shot at f11 but Henný must have bumped the rear wheel.

I did recognized you during voting and i gave it 10. (along with many other 10s i gave in this challenge). But i did feel that you did not enter this challenge for winning it. And you were doing experiments with compositions. This is my belief based on your recent uploads. Which i feel is good thing because one of my complains about this site is that people who has won many ribbons still doing the same stuff just to win ribbons. So seeing you try new and different stuff is really good thing. I hope others may follow you and think about photography and art other than DPC-Matrix.

I was really surprised you weren't in the top 10. This was my favorite of the lot. Very dramatic SP!

Brilliant lighting as always, the hole wasn´t convincing somehow, something to suggest an inner cavity maybe...still very good.

I gave you an 8. I think you captured yourself perfectly...

p.s. it was very brave of you not to cover over the hole with makeup

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

Ehhem.. sorry, I didn't want to lose my cool here but I beat you on this challenge, and it feels damn good :P

I gave you 9... a big whole, huge 9 with sparkles on it. I don't understand why you are standing here 76th place, but it must be you actually did NOT take this photo.. that's why.

It's a good photo, no i did not recognize you without a pacifier.

:)

Henny "bumped the wheel"? No, I think it was sabotage on purpose. She well and truly beat you this week, my friend. :)

I like the editing, I think it would have almost looked better without the big black dot though, your expression fits the title well without it. Nice job anyway. 7

8 - Nice artistic portrait which appears to capture good character. Wish the 'hole' was more defined.

if you could have pulled off some texture behind you and in the hole, it would have worked better. Nice lighting on you however.
