Wonderful DOF in this - I came back to a) see who you were, and b) see what you used as far as lens and settings, so thanks for posting those!

I like the 'unshaven' look. I like how you're not looking directly at the camera also. BB

A thinker working in the mine? Good, actually very good light, great control of shapness, nice pose, and very photogenic. Dirt doesnt suit you.

Obviously a personal thing, but in my opinion this image would be much stronger with the simplicity of 'natural'. You chose this look for a reason, but to me, as a viewer, the dirt seems a bit 'senseless', especially in what looks like a clean studio environment.

I extremly like the use of DOF in this photograph and how you did the process and post on this image. Also like how you popped your eyes out and used the dirt to tale a story about yourself.

A+

Nice and simple. Like the sharp focus on one eye and shallow DoF (F1.4 or less..?). Goodluck.8.

I really like your lighting and use of negative space. I wish the DOF wasn't as shallow IMO. But a great portrait overall.

oh this is neat, interesting softness contrasting the roughness of the dirt

I think you would've done better without the dirt. I'm not sure what the point of the dirt is.
