I really like the texture and depth that this presentation gives. While this certainly is not the only apple shot, this one presents a ton of creativity by going with a minimal look and tons of great lighting. An excellent shot and worthy of a great score. Back after seeing everything to bump up from 8 to 9 EXCELLENT SHOT! Certainly should see the first page in my opinion.

Fabulous shot - I love that it's just so bold. The apple red is perfect (no idea how much you tweaked it but it looks inviting yet beautifully dark) and the framing/crop really works. A lovely interpretation of the challenge. Well done! :)

This may be my favorite Snow White reference. Subtle and the lighting and DOF are great. Love the red nails too.

Well done, well lit, crisp and sharp, a very nice photo. My fear is that, now you won't win, because I have never liked the winner of these contests, but I do like this one!!

Very nice in-your-face poisoned apple shot. I particularly like the very open palm inviting someone to take it.
