Interesting composition -- I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at though... :)

Wonderful composition. The large brooding shapes in the foreground add a good sense of scale. The lines in the negative space in the forground add a sense of motion and depth. The contrast between the dark forground shapes and the brilliant gold of the statue make both better. I like it. The expanding light shpe of the lower building and the sky rise and expand to the main point of interest. It starts in the lower center and expands upward and out to the left, a good balancing shape to the dark shape in the left. Good work.

A very well-crafted picture. Strong artistic statement. I'm betting this picture lost something in the downsizing. The statue pales into insigficance.
