This is а fractal pattern I indeed found looking up through my sunroof on a rainy day (and there aren't many of those here in San Diego :). Hope it fits the challenge, but even if it does not, so what.

this is a very cool (in my biased opinion, of course) example of the phenomenon of coarsening which I've studied in my main line of work (physics), of course in different contexts... I wish I could submit the full-resolution photo, the range of scales of droplets in this image is staggering!

...Isn't Nature amazing?

I was wondering why there is no reflection in those drops. then read the title and realized. nice and crisp image. why colors are missing? due to overcast sky like I am thinking? otherwise great shot.
