| I would agree that the lighting is a bit harsh, bit I like the composition and posing in the photo and its nice overall. The child has a very cute expression on his face. |

| I don't know about the lighting. It looks okay to me on this monitor -- i really like hte brightness of her t-shirt and the atypical kid pose she is in. |

| I'll agree with the others that the lighting is a bit harsh, but I'm sure they will love the gifts. I sometimes forget that I'm way more critical on my own shots than non-photographers would ever be. I say that now, but we'll see when those canvas prints arrive tomorrow... |

No, I don't think the lighting's flat. White is so hard to work with IMO. I love her colorful wardrobe, and she just looks so happy and at ease.
Maybe just the slightest bit overexposed, but I tend to chicken out 'cause I blow out all too often.

| Really like the angle, the colorful t-shirt against the white BG. I am no expert in lighting but I think this is very effective at making the BG totally textureless. She looks like she's floating... Is it just me or there is dark spot in the top left corner? |

| brilliant joyful happy photograph !! .. love the perspective and the colours . its just such a 'clean' shot .. brilliant in fact .. i think i know wot you mean about the flat look, but i dont think its suffering at all .. :) |

| Man, you're so lucky to have all these kids around! Beautiful picture, just right for a gift. I don't think the light is flat, except that maybe there's a bit too much of it on her face, just a smidgeon? |
