This is a very good image, but it feels a little bit contrived. Maybe it's the white background that just says "studio" to me. In a "home" environment, but without loosing focus on the girl (yes, that's hard, I know!) I think it would have been better.

I love this shot! Well setup and wonderfully focussed. In a day wrought with cell-phones, electric hair curlers and so on, your choice of accessories is especially grand. Wonderful, all-around photography. Your choice of a model for this was outstanding. The emotion and total young lady look that she has put forth makes this shot go from a good shot to great!! freakin adorable, i remember this faze. good lighting and great expression. I think she could use more vibrancy on her face, like maybe higher contrast?
