This is lovethelight again. she has amazing eyes that doesn't need dodge/burn. =)

I did a lot of experimental editing on this one, like various layers and blending modes to achieve the contrast. converted to B&W, and toned with sepia in Lightroom. so compositionally it's boring, but I'm too lazy to edit anything else.

The title is inspired by an awesome spring awakening song that I thought was fitting since it looks like she came out of the darkness. Plus she loves this song =D

A perfect portrait... The pose, the expression, the lighting, all combine to make you want to know more about this special person. I like the duotone as well, and even the skin texture adds to the image. 10 from me and my pick for yellow ribbon.

I like the processing. Grungy and yet still pretty.

not too sure about the title, it doesn't look very dark or moody to me. Maybe because she has a half-smile? Doesn't exactly say 'dark' to me.

I do like the picture, but title lets it down.

Interesting to explore. Can't decide if her look is demonic or not!

Such appealing texture in this shot. Great contrasty lighting and lovely color tones too. Back to bump you up to 9.

a very harsh (high contrast) PP, but I have to admit, works very well here.

I love the tone and the processing. I like the way the texture of the skin seems to match the material. 9

Nicely composed and focused and good toning, she's just crying out for some catchlights in her eyes though.

Hrm - was about to say that the eyes are too dark, but reading the title i can now say that the smile is a bit "off" for what i think you were trying to achieve. Lovely textures and postwork :)
