What I think what this photo really has going for it is the shadow in the corner and the light of the stars mimicked on the other side. It has a nice balance that is often difficult with these types of landscapes.

this is great, i love the stars and the morning mist. May have toned back the purple, but I know once I decide to go purple I can't tame it too much. :P
