I didn't really think it was that hard to see or comprehend, I thought it was a really good entry. I gave it an 8. I hope you stick around for more challenges, will be nice to see what you can come up with. Welcome to DPC. |

is the blueberry the predator or prey, there are no witnesses... |

in a photo titled "Blueberry Massacre" I would hope to see some color. With out the title this image is very hard to read |

This picture is very interesting, it took me a minute or two to realize what it was of. |

I fail to see what it is, other than unsharp blur |

Really interesting patterns - I wonder whether colour may have helped lift this ? |

If you are going to call this Blueberry, than I want to see color.
The blacks are too deep, the whites are barely in, your tonal values need help.
I do not see a blueberry, I see a black hole. |

Interesting shapes and shades, but it's kind of a messy jumble that I can't understand. |

intresting abstract feel this this and I think it's a creative angle for the challenge. |

I'm not sure that B&W was the way to go with this concept. |

you can't really tell it's a blueberry |

Hmmm....blueberries.... I think this may have been better in color with strong blues and a white background. |

I like the grain in this image, but the blueberry is a bit too centered for my liking. What does it look like in colour? It lacks a bit of impact in greyscale. |

Its a bit dark and doesn't really stand out. Perhaps a color version and an overall desaturation of a shade may do the trick. |

If it wasn't for the title I'd have very little idea what this was all about. |

not sure about this. I think it may have needed color. Without a title I would not have known what I was looking at. |

I'm curious, with all the wonderful shades of blue and pink that come from mashed blueberries, why this is in b&w. It does make a nice abstract. It might be more effective if the blueberry were off center (rule of thirds might be used effectively here). |

It's the only surviving blueberry, could this little guy be the perpetrator? I love the "old violent comic book" feel. |

There's quite a bit of noise in the photo and I think I would have preferred it in color. |

An abstract composition. It took me quite a while to figure out what I'm looking at until I see the title. The lighting could be improved. Nice try. |

Ahhh, the event that turned the tide of public opinion and marked the beginning of the end for the Berry Mafia. :) |
