Very effective composition, I think.

many time pieces might look mundance but this does not. like the composition but the focus and shadow on the hour hand are blending too much together due to the lack of focus and possibly the tone chosen. I might have shot down and up to get a different perspective of both hands and the clock face.

good idea .. ... hour hand needs to be in focus also.

Great shot, nice POV and DOF. Simple yet powerful.

Ahh, the hands of a clock. Those are things I take for granted everyday that's for sure. Nice DOF and application of noise. 7

Very strong composition - the positioning of the pointers within the frame, their angle, the curved sweep of the edging pattern, the hard border of the wood - excellent.

with handS in the title both hands should be in focus (IMHO); nice b&w, like the softer frame to the left, don't think the border adds to the shot.

Delicate, neat, strongly composed. Placement of the hands is clever. Entirely fitting the challenge, though it perhaps doesn't quite make it into the 'extraordinary' class. Strong image though.
