 i did this edit after i'd posted a lighter and less natural version which is the one below ..

sue had made it a fav so i couldnt really just replace the lighter image ..
then i did a sepia version which i think i prefer over either of the colour ones ..



these kangaroos were in our yard very early yesterday morning .. male, female and a young one .. it was amazing because i got maybe 20 metres from them and they knew i was there .. usually when they hear or see movement from the house they're gone .. i'm hoping they become a lot more used to me and let me get closer .. they are totally wild and go thru the fences with ease ..
this was a combination of three photographs ..
firstly i combined one of some trees looking up, that i took a week ago ..

and 'sand ripples' from shez sherpet

this is the result of that combination ..

and then brought in the kangaroos .. i used this particular photograph because of the way they're looking down, as if at their reflections ..

i used redfield/water ripples and ripples magic and flaming pear flood plugs/filters ..

Way to go!!!!!!! This is hopping great fun and beautiful to boot. I love the mini tutorial in your posting as well. Great shot/shots and blending and tweaking.
