| Underloved! I really like the black neg space beside a brightly lit cat! and the closed eyes, Well only us cat lovers understand Cats do not apply themselves as models!!! |

| Well you beat your prediction by a mile (and you are 100% right FS scores ARE a killer). A lovely shot of feline contentment, I was really struck by the darkness of the negative space and how this made the charcoal grey fur stand out. Super composition |

hey jason .. wot a gorgeous photograph .. so cat like !!! ... i can almost feel the warmth ... i'm smiling looking at this cat .. he looks so relaxed and comfortable ..
and yes, the votes from free studies are particularly harsh ... i wonder why i go in them at all !! .. i was thinking the cow and calf would get a high 5 and thats wot it got so i'm not unhappy .. i reckon this deserves more than a 5.5 tho . ..:) |

WOW
great image, priceless capture. I like the balance of the black to the white and the border is very helpful for the image.
only reason to vote it down around here is that it is of a cat, and we have seen lots of pictures of cats
