Wonderful focus you achieved here - the little guy has a jaunty look. |

I thought I commented on this one in the challenge, but apparently not - I was quite taken with the way he seemed to be posing so nicely for you. Very good detail on this little guy! |

Looks like you've taken care of your Christmas cards. Tack sharp. Every (English photographer's) home should have one. |

The focus and clarity is awesome. I love the orange color too. It's so cute how he's looking right at you. |

I like the DOF on the post, but this could use a bit more 'pop' in it i think. Also, the metal rail adds an interestinf juxtaposition to the concept as it has a soft fluffy creature associated with good will to all men and noel tidings etc, and the metal rail which is industrial.
I don't think that was deliberate, but it's an interesting point all the same. |

Very nice detail on him, and I like the angle of his perch. Looks like he could use a bit more headroom, though. |

8/10 only because that beak is out of focus and too 1-dimensional. I would give it a 10/10 if the head was turned a bit and the beak in focus. But otherwise super crisp and colorful, nice! |

What a super robin photo - so much detail in the feathers. It is a shame thta he didn't do you the favour of lighting on a more aestheically favourable stand! I love the close up, but would have liked just a tiny bit more room at the top. Despite my criticisms, a lovely photo that I would be very happy to receive as a Christmas card! |
