Axxon,
Thanks so much for deeming this a favorite of yours.... Unfortunately, not having grown up in the milling business, I have no idea what the top building is used for.
Thanks again Mark |

Just wanted you to know that this was my favorite submission this week. I've been dying to know what that little building on the top is used for :) |

I like the tinting, and this is a neat interpretation of the "corner" element of the challenge. Nicely done! |

Initial=cool textures. sky too washed out.. cloudy day? Composition=okay Clarity (focus, details)=nice detail in the siding Exposure=good except for the sky Interesting or Emotive=interesting. nice look at another side of life.
I am using a this new detailed commenting method inspired by autool. (Thanks autool!). I hope you find it more helpful than my former comments. Thanks for submitting, and good luck! ;0) kpb

that's super cool, you picked exactly the right spot to shoot from. |

the sepia tones and the shut doors give me a feeling of abandonment, or being closed down. has the mill indeed been closed?
challenge met -- yes appeal / composition -- because of the upwards angle this shot feels a little lopsided, although i realize it isn't actually. nice photo, although not the most riveting topic for me personally. technical -- good overall -- 6 gr8photos :) |

I am rating this shot lower becuase this scene is not specific to your corner of the world. I can see the same setting here is CA. It is more unique than other submissions so I give you a 7 |

This is nice. I would have liked it better though if the main corner was perpendicularwith the photo's bottom border. |

Why pink? I like it pink but I wondered what the reason is. |
