Excellent idea. Well done composition and lay out. Seems to have a fair amount of noise though, from looking at the bottom, which I think is why the nuts in the glasses don't look as sharp as they could.

I'm nutty about this one.

Very cool! Reminds me of an art plaque I made. Dried beans and peas are inherently beautiful. Good job!

Great shot. I would love to see the same shot with only one of the containers holding a different color bean instead of two - sort of a "Standing out from the crowd" theme. Fits the challenge well.

Beans, beans, beautiful fruit . . . sorry - couldn't help it - seemed a far more apt title! It's really quite a nice image - unusual for sure. I think the one thing I'd do differently would be to spread the brighter colors out a bit rather than having them so close together.

Technically impeccable work. There is a suitable weirdness to the composition, and the subject, without detracting from the 'mundane' thing. I'm in two minds about the single bean - not sure there isn't already enough going on , what with contrasts of size of glass and colours of beans, for that to be over-egging the pudding, but I guess you've already agonised about that.

There's a slightly yellow/green cast that I don't like, did you white balance before shooting?
