 develop the raw with dpp. tuned in photomatrix,post in photoshop crop,levels,curves,dodge and burn, gaussian blur, usm,selective colours. denoise with neatimage.

This is an outstanding capture. The focus from wingtip to wingtip is spot on. I think the brilliant whites on the bird's torso is a positive on this as it keeps the subject from blending too much in the background.

The edges of the wings, and especially tip feathers, have some odd red fringing I find distracting. Perhaps over-sharpened? Nice capture though, I like the composition.

I like the post processing on the wings but the body of the bird seems to lack definition.
