Initial=wow!
Composition=well done! is it me, or does the land tilt down from right to left. I see how you made the bridge angle, but with that and the curve of the sidewalk and water, I think it is a bit slanted. Anyway.. love the curve of the sidewalk and water in relation to the linear bridge.
Clarity (focus, details)=perfect!
Exposure=perfect!
Interesting or Emotive=lots for my eye to do in this image. Great!

I am using a this new detailed commenting method inspired by autool. (Thanks

You got one of my many 10's this week perfect shot.

The focus on the bridge seems to be slightly off. Might be haze, I can't tell. The grass and curving walk make it an 8 for me. nards656

God, I've been there so many times. I'm all nostalgic... I lived in Sydney for 4.5 years. This just needed some rotating in the clockwise direction to straighten up that horizon, or perhaps a little bit in the other direction to make it seem more jaunty, otherwise it's just a bit awkward. Nicely framed otherwise.

two things I would wish for here--treetop not cut off and a little sky visable above all the buildings that are under the bridge. A 10 never the less.

love the colors and detail.

Excellent composition. The colors are vibrant and the bridge pulls you right into the picture.

Reasonably well ocmposed, although I'd like to see the top of the palm tree. Nice colors. I like the curved fence. 5 sjgleah

I feel like I'm tilting all over the place - needs a flater horizon. Wish I could see the top of the tree as well - reminds me of when I climbed this last year.

Good vividness, although it may have been better to include the top of the tree.

Very nice curves and perspective. The top of the palm tree cut bothers me a little. but the bridge and path curves are VERY appealing. 7. Lionel

Looks very pretty but the horizon is a bit off, i feel seasick :) It's a good composition though, the curves of the rive/fence + the bridge. If I were taking this photo, i'd move closer and try to get some of the city into the photo, but that's just me. 7 paganini

real pretty. nice shadows of the fence on the walk. only way it could be better is maybe show the top of the palm tree, or wait for somebody to come walking down towards the foreground. maybe a hot chick.
09/25/2002 05:10:00 AM
great shot ... but I would've took it from a slightly lower angle to show the rest of the tall building and and palm tree

Nice interplay of lines. JEM

I really like this view... the leading line created by the sidewalk is a very nice touch :) - setzler

wow.. I like it...

Nice shot of a cityscape, with some other stuff in the foreground. adds a little balance to the composition.

i love the swooping lines of the walk and arch... my only complaints: the horizon needs to be straight and all of the closest palm should be in the pic (in my opinion) because it's cut off in mid-swoop...7

I wondering where this is, very pretty. Nice color. Dpz

looks slightly tilted

Very nice subject! I would have liked it better if the entire palm tree had been kept, but still ver nice-looking place.
