spooked waxwing, markings are excellent, interesting contrasting gray environ w/red berries - enjoy this edit.

I love the misty atmosphere of this shot, and the bright red against the gray. It is quite dreamlike. It's a nice capture of the cedar waxwing as well.

I suspect this didn't score well for not meeting the challenge, but it's a gorgeous photograph in my opinion. I love the softness, the blur, and the red against the gray; and the grain serves this well. Very lovely shot!

Good concept but the motion is blurred and the shot is very noisy. If it were tack sharp it would have worked better for me. Good luck.

a very interesting perspective, although the bird is a bit to blurry and the picture is WAY to noisy /5

Eventhough this is slightly out of focus and you didn't completely stop the motion, I really like this shot. It has a certain ethereal or mystical feel to it.

Not fully stopped motion...

Lacks definition. Focus needs to be on the subject for this one. The strong foreground colour also leads the eye away from the dull, grey subject.

I think the blurred bird actually works well with the red berries, Goodluck

Nice idea, but noisy and the only things in focus are the tips of the tail feathers.

I really like this. The way that you captured this shot really has a cool effect. It's like something you would catch out of the corner of your eye. Nice job.

Looks out of focus and noisy on my screen...sorry

nice waxwing fly away. A bit too grainy but I like the shot.

somehow i like the fuzzy feeling of the picture

Sharp focus would be nice
