Thanks all for the votes and comments! This was taken in natural light on a piece of computer paper and it turned out a bit brighter than I expected and ended up giving the drip a floating appearance. Also, using the macro lens, which I haven't used a lot yet, I really needed to shoot this at f/9 or more to get a larger DOF and have more of the image in focus. I appreciate all the constructive comments and I'm sure they will help me in the next challenge.

I hate it when this happens. Good focus and lighting.

Great idea. Focus seems a little soft though.

Nice shot - but if the spilled drop were more in focus this would be a great shot!

Pretty. Could have been leveled instead of on a slant.

This is nice, although I don't care for the angle, the spot looks awkward. it just looks out of place.

Nice idea but the spill almost looks like it's floating.

Slightly blown out on the right - too much white.

I like this, simple yet very effective and meets the challenge well.

I like the way the glass is shot, and it could use some more contrast and sharpness.

Not bad! I wish the part of the bottle closest to me was in focus -- that's really what matters. Either that or you had shifted the angle so the opening of the bottle was closest to the lens, and still kept it in focus. Other than that it's a nice image! Keep it up!

Simple, yet effective. Seems slightly out of focus to me.

nice idea, but not quite sure where the focus point is...too much of the image is out of focus...I think a smaller aperture would have made this nice and sharp in the right places...on the positive, I like the composition and the colour, lighting 6

Nice colors and lighting, but does not seem to be realy sharp, at leats not at the point where the polish was spilled. (5)
