Wow, really stunning shot. Should have finished miles higher, but that's DPC for you. |

The initial feeling here is that I was looking at a child captured, hidden somewhere, a child yearning to get out. But the more I looked, the more I realized that the child is free, and the almost mournful face is the expression that she wears looking in at us, wishing all of us adults, walled in behind our jobs and our fears and our perceptions, walled in by ourselves, could see animals in the clouds again, or run just to run, or slide down a slide just because. That soulful look on her face is not for her; it's for us. Wonderful. |

this reminds me of the cover of some freaky science fiction book from the 60s. |

Really striking composition. I personally would have made this a bigger image on the page. So strange and intriguing. |

Good potential. Looks like this is very grainy (and apologies if that is intentional), so you may have resizing/pp issues. This bigger (640), if the quality was there would be better. The tones are nice in this image but, I wonder about a variation for added effect, especially in this Challenge. |

too much space, needs crop in my opinion. |

I love the grainy effect here. the slightly off center subject and the great expression also help.
Although I am finding all these bleak shots in the challenge rather depressing, I do like the concept behind this one. |

A fine image. A pity you haven't re-sized to the maximum allowed dimensions - one suspects, seeing as its 480 tall, that you might have misunderstood the allowance. The graininess is fabulous, the simplicity exemplary; and the tonality matches the mood - some, I suspect, will tell you that you need to use more of teh available dynamic range - this image has no areas anywhere near white - but I think you have made the right choice in keeping to a more muted palette. Enjoyable mysterious, too. |

nice. Really nice. Brave framing choice, interesting texture. Feel it would be perhaps better in colour. |

Cute idea but the noise/grain on the image is just way overpowering. |
